CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Acting I: This class will explore beginner acting techniques and terms. Students will also learn methods in which to breakdown and approach monologues and scenes for future auditions and performances.

Acting II: This class will explore more advanced acting techniques and terms. Students will also learn methods in which to breakdown and approach monologues and scenes for future auditions and performances, specifically with a more intense acting training experience.

Dance Technique: Strengthen, Lengthen, Leap and Turn! This 9-week class will explore proper dance technique in Ballet and Jazz, essential knowledge for today’s performer.

Tap I: Tap dance is one of the oldest dance forms in America, and an important form in the world of Musical Theatre. Tap 1 will focus on learning and applying tap technique and terminology through exploration of rhythm and Broadway tap.

Tap II: Students will be taught tap technique through rhythms, timing, and leg/foot coordination in both rhythm and Broadway tap styles. Students in Tap 2 will flex their skills as choreographer with a culminating final project.

TUITION AND REGISTRATION

Tuition is $110 per class for the entire 9-week semester.
